Several changes in work laws will affect England, Scotland, and Wales. Employees can now ask for flexible working twice a year instead of once, and employers must respond within two months.

Carers can take a week off yearly without pay whilst pregnant workers now have 18 months' protection from redundancy.

Paternity leave can be split into two one-week blocks within a year after the child's birth!

More changes are expected later in 2024, including laws on distributing tips fairly and preventing sexual harassment.
